The Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Collins Ntim on Tuesday August 19, 2018 paid a working visit to the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District as part of his tour of the central region.
The District Chief Executive, Emmanuel Kojo Nanah ESQ however described the Deputy Minister as one of the few experienced politicians having gone through the stages from being an Assemblyman to DCE, Member of Parliament and now a Deputy Minister and yet still very humble
In hiw welcoming address, Hon Emmanuel K. Nanah ESQ epressed his displeasure on the state of roads in the District especially the Cape Coast – Twifo Praso road which passes through the Kakum National Park.
The district Health Director, District Education director, District Agriculture Director and the District coordinating director briefed the minister and all stakeholders in relation to their activities undertaken from 2017 to date.
The Deputy Minister therefore commended the District Chief Executive for achieving such impressive records in relation to punctuality at work and achievements in financial discipline, health and education.
The Deputy Minister was however not too happy with the performance in the agriculture sector and further advised that more should be done as he will visit again in the next 2 months
